New Generation of Illuminated Surface Mount Switches from MEC

The illumec^TM range that allows illumination also in surface mount switches has been extended to include the 4A version. Now all illuminated switches from MEC can be delivered for surface mount.

The 4A illumec^TM switch is a new generation of the well known multimec® 3A switches and can be fitted with the same award winning keycaps and bezels. The keycaps can either be fully illuminated or illuminated by means of lenses in solid colour caps.

The illumec^TM switches are sealed to IP-67 standards, have a minimum mechanical life of 10 million actuations and a ruggedized construction that accepts 100N force applied to the actuator. illumec^TM is available in either through hole or surface mount configurations.

With the new bicolour LED engineers will have more options to make user friendly and highly integrated front panels.

The innovative switch can be fitted with blue, white, green, yellow, red and bi-colour LEDs.
