MEC is introducing the next step in the evolution of the navimec^TM concept: the illuminated navimec^TM with soft touch finish.

The Navimec^TM line provides joystick functionality making it possible to navigate up/down/left/right and also have a centre function that will typically be used as an enter key.

The illuminated Navimec^TM is designed for PCB mounting with switches illumec^TM 4A and 4F offering a very bright illumination and a good tactile feel. Illumec^TM is available in SMD and TH, has 10 million operations life time and sealing exceeding IP67. The keycaps are specifically designed with a hi-tech look and a soft touch finish obtained by elastomer coating.

The illuminated navimec^TM is ideal for operating directional functions such as navigating through menus in all types of test and measurement, medical, broadcast , pro-audio and other professional equipment.
